Tyyni X Fuzzy Eagle Collaboration
Tyyni is the largest disc golf event in Europe, encompassing a wide range of different disc golf competitions and events. As an event, Tyyni has traditionally concluded with a three-day main competition, where up to 1000 players compete simultaneously on multiple courses.
“This year, there are two main events: the Tyyni Open, held from June 30th to July 2nd, which is part of the European Pro Tour professional circuit, and Tyyni X, which concludes the entire event. In between, there are, of course, a huge number of one-round competitions, doubles competitions, and side events. The Tyyni Open is played only on the Sibbe course, and there are only two competition classes (open and women’s open). Tyyni X is the traditional main event of Tyyni, with space for about 900 players and nearly every existing competition class available. In Tyyni X, the open classes also play on a different course each day,” says event organizer Juha Kytö.
The suffix X in Tyyni X refers to the experience and the fact that this is the 10th Tyyni event.
Fuzzy Eagle provides the player shirts for the Tyyni X player package for all competitors. The design of the shirts was created using Tyyni’s visual identity and listening to their wishes.
“The clothing received a refreshingly bright but simple look that matches well with the Tyyni image. The color scheme we use in Tyyni is quite limited, but this did not hinder the designer. We are very pleased with how the design met our wishes and guidelines", continues Kytö.
Traditionally, Tyyni has taken the player package to the next level, and in previous years, shirts have also been included in the player package. How does this year’s Tyyni clothing differ from previous years?
“In addition to offering the best experiences, we also want to provide the best products in the player package. The purpose of the clothing varies slightly each year from playing use to everyday use, and in 2023 we focused on offering a top-quality playing shirt that you enjoy wearing while playing. Quality, fit, durability, and appearance were the most important criteria when selecting the clothing", Kytö says with satisfaction.
Kytö knows that Fuzzy Eagle is still a young Finnish disc golf clothing company but is pleased with the collaboration.
“The cooperation is smooth and interactive. We ourselves are very busy with many balls in the air, and the Fuzzy Eagle team has ensured that everything we agreed upon is done on time and carefully, without us having to follow up.”
The Fuzzy Eagle team is also satisfied with the collaboration and hopes it will continue long into the future.
“We are delighted with the collaboration with the Tyyni X event. We will be strongly present at the event, and players will even get to compete on the temporary ‘Fuzzy Eagle Mansion’ disc golf course, which will be built just for the Tyyni X event. We will donate a €100 gift card to our online store to anyone who makes a hole-in-one on hole #17 on our course,” says Fuzzy Eagle’s Mikko Tanska.
Kytö wants to recommend Fuzzy Eagle’s disc golf clothing to all disc golfers and clubs.
“If you want to dress stylishly and comfortably in disc golf apparel, Fuzzy Eagle is the choice for you. You can dress according to your own taste for both the game and everyday life. Clubs should also consider Fuzzy Eagle’s clothing as their official game attire, with their own club look, of course.”
The Fuzzy Eagle team wishes Juha and the NBDG team success in organizing the competition and planning for the future.
